Content Types

Some content types may not be available depending on your plan — see Plans and feature availability for details.

Not all content types are available in every context. The options shown in the dropdown will reflect what's available for that area.

Content types define what plays on screen. You select a content type whenever you add content to a Playlist, an Override, or an Overlay.

URL

Displays any web page or web-based content. Paste in the address and it will load directly on your display.

Asset

Plays an image or video file from your asset library. See Assets Overview for details on uploading and managing files.

Layout

Plays a multi-zone layout, letting you show different content in different areas of the screen at the same time. See Creating and Managing Layouts for details.

Playlist

Plays another Playlist inside this one, letting you nest and reuse content across multiple displays. See Creating and Managing Playlists for details.

Home Assistant

Displays a Home Assistant dashboard directly on your screen. See Home Assistant for details.

Blank

Displays a blank screen.
