The Integrations tab in Settings lets you connect a Home Assistant instance so its dashboards can be used as content in your playlists.

Only owners and admins can connect Home Assistant.

Connecting Home Assistant

You will need two things from your Home Assistant instance before you start: the base URL (usually a LAN address such as https://hass.local:8123 ) and a Long-Lived Access Token. To generate a token, go to your HA user profile and navigate to Security then Long-Lived Access Tokens.

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations.
  2. Click + Connect Home Assistant.
  3. In the Connection Name field, enter a label for this connection. This is only shown in Settings.
  4. In the Base URL field, enter the address your displays will use to reach Home Assistant. HTTPS is recommended.
  5. In the Long-Lived Access Token field, paste your token.
  6. Click Connect.

Using Home Assistant Dashboards as Content

Once connected, Home Assistant dashboards are available as a content type when adding items to a playlist. See Adding Content to a Playlist and Content Types for details.
